Registered Nurse, Scrub/Scout (Ophthalmology & Oral/Dental), 0.6 FTE

Employment Type: Permanent, 0.6 FTE, Weekdays only, No weekends, No night duty

Remuneration: $38 to $51 per hour, depending on experience

We are recruiting a Registered Nurse, Scrub/Scout, to join an established day surgery perioperative team in the Adelaide area, on a 0.6 FTE basis, weekdays only.

The Role

This role calls for a nurse with strong scrub/scout experience across both ophthalmology and oral/dental procedures. This combination is non-negotiable for this vacancy.

In this role, you will:

- Scrub and scout for ophthalmology and oral/dental surgical lists
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments and equipment for each case
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural requirements during cases
- Manage instrument counts, stock and equipment specific to ophthalmic and oral/dental lists
- Work with the surgical team to support patient safety checks throughout each list

What You Will Bring

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Scrub/scout experience in ophthalmology procedures
- Scrub/scout experience in oral/dental procedures
