The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and grow a structural engineering team in Brisbane. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery and business development, with responsibility for building a strong team and maintaining client relationships across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.

- Oversee the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.

- Manage project budgets, resourcing, schedules and technical quality.

- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.

- Provide technical guidance and review structural designs, calculations and documentation.

- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated project outcomes.

- Contribute to the growth of the Brisbane office, including training and team development.

- Ensure projects comply with relevant Australian Standards,



building codes and industry requirements.

About You

- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.

- Extensive experience in structural engineering consultancy, ideally with leadership experience.

- Strong technical knowledge of structural design and Australian Standards.

- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop engineering teams.

- Experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.

- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify and pursue recent business opportunities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
