About HALSPETRO:

HALSPETRO provides technology solutions for petrol and service stations, including POS, EFTPOS, Petrol Information Systems and Fuel Management Systems.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technologist to support the design, integration, testing and improvement of technology solutions used in petrol-station and forecourt environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse and improve engineering technology systems and solutions.
- Support integration of POS, EFTPOS, fuel-management and forecourt systems.
- Work with automatic tank gauging, electronic price signs, car-wash systems and forecourt controllers.
- Evaluate technical requirements, equipment compatibility and system interfaces.
- Conduct system, integration and equipment testing.
- Troubleshoot technical and system-integration issues.
- Support installation, commissioning and implementation of technology solutions.
- Work with software engineers, technicians, suppliers and customers.
- Prepare technical specifications, test reports and system documentation.
- Investigate faults and recommend improvements to system reliability and performance.




- Assist with evaluation and implementation of current technologies.

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in engineering technology, systems integration or electronic/technology systems.
- Experience with system testing, troubleshooting and technical implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and system documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Experience:

Experience with POS/EFTPOS, fuel-management systems, petrol-station technology, forecourt equipment, electronic systems, IoT, industrial controls, networking or hardware/software integration will be highly regarded.
