The team is made up of qualified technicians, and the business operates to a mine-site ready standard, so the work spans a range of demanding industrial and remote environments.

Employment type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

Diesel Motor Mechanic

Employment Responsibilities

- May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers




- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work to specification
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Interpret plans and work orders and complete job documentation

Skills, experience and qualifications

- Certificate III including at least one year of relevant experience, or Certificate IV. At least 3 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
- Relevant experience may also be required.
- Registration or licensing may be required for this occupation.
