Role Description

This part-time / full time Psychologist role is an on-site position based in Bendigo, VIC. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, and may also work with families and couples as appropriate.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with other clinicians to ensure integrated client care.

The role also involves liaising with referrers and external stakeholders, contributing to case discussions,



and participating in ongoing career development to maintain high standards of practice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge and training in Psychology and Mental Health.
- Candidates should possess skills in Counseling and Psychological Assessment for diverse client presentations.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of relevant aspects of Medicine, particularly as they relate to mental health and multidisciplinary care.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills with clients and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate psychology board and relevant professional accreditation.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional standards and regulations.
- Candidates should possess strong organisational skills, including time management, record-keeping, and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- Experience in working within community, educational, corporate, or government settings is beneficial, as is familiarity with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
