Desco supplies engineering consumables and industrial products to manufacturing and industrial customers across South-East Queensland.

Part of the Building & Industrial Supplies Group (BISG) and backed by Metal Manufactures Pty Ltd, you'll have the support of one of Australia's largest privately owned industrial groups while leading a well-established specialist business with the autonomy to shape its future.

The Role:

This isn't a corporate management role.

You'll lead a small, experienced team, strengthen relationships with an established B2B customer base and identify opportunities to grow the business.

Our customers are predominantly manufacturers and industrial businesses, purchasing everything from engineering consumables and cutting tools through to CRC products and welding supplies. Experience selling into similar industries will be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in people who understand technical B2B sales and know how to build long-term customer relationships.





The team enjoys a great culture, including half-day Fridays, and we're looking for someone who will build on what's already working while continuing to grow the business.

You'll Likely Bring:

- Experience selling engineering, industrial or other technical products into B2B markets
- The ability to develop existing accounts while winning new business
- Leadership or supervisory experience, or the confidence to lead a small team
- Robust commercial judgement and a practical, hands-on approach
- Comfortable working in a small business where you'll wear multiple hats
