Our client is an established national organisation specialising in residential and commercial building repairs for the insurance industry. They work closely with insurers, homeowners, trades and other stakeholders to manage insurance repair claims and ensure jobs progress efficiently from initial lodgement through to completion. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an Insurance Claims Administrator / Client Accounts Manager to join their friendly & supportive Perth team which is expanding due to business growth.
This is a diverse & fast-paced role where you will work across both insurance administration & client account management responsibilities. You will play an important role in ensuring jobs are progressed efficiently, clients and customers are kept informed, & queries are resolved promptly whilst providing exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will be someone who is highly organised, enjoys dealing with people, building rapport & is confident managing competing priorities. As a key point of contact for customers, insurers & other stakeholders, you will be comfortable communicating confidently over the phone & via email, responding to enquiries & helping to resolve queries efficiently.
Whilst previous insurance or building/construction/plumbing/roofing related experience will be highly regarded, our client is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds who have strong administration, time management & scheduling skills. Knowledge of Escape of Liquid (EOL) claims would be particularly beneficial however not a must as training will be provided. The position is Full-Time working Monday - Friday with scope for 1 day WFH post probation period.
Duties Include But Not Limited To:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of insurance & commercial jobs from initial lodgement through to inspection, quotation & reporting
- Managing & progressing a nominated portfolio of insurance jobs
- Handling incoming calls as part of a rotating phone roster & providing professional customer service
- Responding to customer, insurer & stakeholder queries
- Triaging new jobs in accordance with client requirements & procedures
- Coordinating work orders, make-safes, specialist reports & inspections
- Following up outstanding reports, documentation, approvals & other requirements to keep jobs progressing
- Liaising with homeowners, insurers, estimators, supervisors, trades and other internal & external stakeholders
- Providing regular updates to customers & clients
- Monitoring client requirements, KPIs & agreed timeframes
- Reviewing & progressing reports & quotes in accordance with client requirements
- Managing queries & complaints through to resolution, escalating where required
- Identifying issues & using initiative to find practical solutions
- Maintaining accurate records & updating relevant job management systems
- Assisting with accounts administration including relevant AP & AR processes
- Ensuring daily tasks, communications & outstanding actions are completed within required timeframes
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team & assisting with additional tasks as required
Requirements:
- Min 2+ years within an administration, client services, client account management or similar role
- Candidates with backgrounds in insurance, building, construction, plumbing, roofing, facilities management or related industries are encouraged to apply
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine focus on finding solutions
- Confident & professional telephone manner
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong complaint resolution & problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload & competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills with strong time management & attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions & follow tasks through to completion
- Intermediate with the Microsoft Suite particularly Outlook and Excel
- Experience using insurance, claims or job management software will be well regarded however training will be provided on internal systems & CRM
- Reliable, self-motivated & able to work effectively both independently & as part of a team
- Outgoing personality with the confidence to communicate with a range of people and stakeholders
- A positive & proactive attitude with willingness to pitch in & assist the team where required
- Demonstrated commitment to following health, safety, quality & environmental guidelines & contributing to a safe workplace
- Current Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is essential
Please note that for this position candidates will be required to hold permanent working rights and be willing to obtain a Police Clearance if not already held. The position is office-based during the probation period with scope for 1 day WFH post probation.
