We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work in the Blacktown / Western Sydney area. This organisation has over 30 years’ experience, providing services across the age ranges, from Paediatrics to older people. They have large multi-disciplinary teams and this role would be a generalist position, predominantly working in the NDIS area, carrying a varied caseload. You would receive training, support and supervision and join a large established team.

Details of the role:

- Salary ranging from $80-110k – dependent on experience
- Referrals that are in your local area - specifically around the Blacktown / Western Sydney area
- Full Time, Permanent role (4 days per week also available)
- Manageable caseload with support and training (5 billable hours per day)
- Cover the Blacktown / Western Sydney area
- Role would be working predominantly in the NDIS area
- Work closely with the rest of the Occupational Therapy team, as well as other allied health practitioners
- Generous vehicle allowance and the opportunity to earn bonuses if you wish to work extra hours

This organisation has been providing services for over 30 years across the Greater Sydney area. They take pride in their work and have a supportive work culture with training and development opportunities. You will have freedom to manage your day and calendar whilst carrying a varied caseload. You would also have the opportunity to work alongside their other multi-disciplinary teams - including with Speech Pathologists,



Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Duties:

- Plan, deliver and evaluate Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants which help them achieve their NDIS goals.
- Work with older people to ensure they can remain living independently in their own home
- Carry out various assessments – Functional Capacity, Home Assessments etc.
- Support NDIS participants’ inclusion and participation in the community
- Carry out assessments and prescribe equipment
- Provide services and supports in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities to keep up with current developments
- Fulfil administrative requirements such as data collection and note taking
- When assigned, supervise and train assistants, volunteers and students, ensuring the maintenance of professional, clinical, ethical and safety standards

Requirements:

- We require you to have a university degree in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration
- Previous experience working in the NDIS area
- Driving License and car
