Our client is an established commercial cleaning and facilities services business providing services across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.

As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and provide accurate, commercially focused financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, this is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and understands the financial dynamics of a labour-intensive, contract-based service environment.

Taking ownership of the finance function, your responsibilities will include:

- Monthly management reporting and analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- AP, AR and general ledger oversight
- Payroll oversight and reconciliation
- BAS, GST and statutory compliance
- Month-end and year-end processes
- Contract profitability and margin analysis
- Labour cost and productivity reporting
- Supporting pricing, tenders and contract reviews
- Providing meaningful financial information to operational managers
- Identifying cost, margin and commercial risks
- Strengthening financial controls and processes
- Working closely with the senior leadership team on business performance and planning.

About You:




We'd love to speak with Finance Managers or experienced Management Accountants who bring a combination of financial discipline, commercial curiosity and a hands-on approach.

You don't necessarily need to have worked specifically within commercial cleaning. However, experience within a contracted and labour-intensive service business, such as facilities management, security, maintenance, labour hire or similar, would give you a strong understanding of the commercial environment.

- Approximately 5 years' relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification, or progress towards qualification, highly regarded.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of Australian statutory requirements.
- Experience across month-end reporting, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, cash flow and management reporting.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis within a tenders and contract workplace.
