We’re partnering with a leading luxury retailer to appoint an Assistant Accountant to its Australian finance team.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving discrepancies and seeing how their work supports a busy retail business.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you’ll take ownership of revenue and receivables processes across the store network and eCommerce channel. You’ll also contribute to month-end reporting, compliance and year-end activity, giving you exposure beyond the day-to-day transactions.

What you’ll be doing:

- Reconcile sales, bank accounts, receivables and customer transactions across stores and eCommerce
- Investigate discrepancies and work with store teams to resolve transaction issues
- Monitor aged receivables and support timely collection
- Prepare regular sales reports and month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with GST and PAYG reconciliations, BAS preparation and audit requirements




- Monitor the flow of sales data into the accounting system
- Partner with finance, retail and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries and improve processes

What you’ll bring:

- At least three years’ experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
- An accounting or finance qualification and CA/CPA qualification
- Robust reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or retail systems would be valuable
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders and managing competing deadlines
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
