We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team in Avondale. We operate a modern fleet of trucks and trailers and offer a consistent workload in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a modern fleet of heavy trucks and trailers.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with New Zealand transport requirements and safety standards.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently to maintain minimal downtime.
- Maintaining workplace health and safety protocols within the workshop.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Class 4 NZ driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven history maintaining heavy diesel vehicles, with a strong understanding of NZ transport requirements.
- Excellent teamwork skills, a self-motivated attitude, and a good understanding of the English language.
- A genuine passion for trucks,
heavy machinery, and the transport sector.

- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, alongside a drug and alcohol test.
- Operates a strict zero-drug and alcohol policy, and you may be subject to random testing.
