GBS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee a busy production operation in Sale.

This opportunity will suit a hands-on leader who can manage a large team, keep daily operations running smoothly and drive improvements in performance, quality and safety.

The Opportunity

- Six-month temporary assignment with potential for permanency
- Immediate start
- Lead and support a team of more than 40 employees
- Manage daily workflow, staffing and production targets

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day production and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Lead, roster and support staff across the operation
- Monitor productivity, quality and safety standards
- Resolve workflow issues and respond to changing priorities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and performance




- Work with internal stakeholders to meet service and customer requirements

About You

To succeed in this position, you will have:

- Experience managing a team of 40 or more people
- A background in production or manufacturing operations
- Solid rostering, planning and problem-solving skills
- A practical, hands-on leadership style
- A commitment to workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement
