The Family:
A warm, family-oriented young couple is seeking an experienced nanny to support them with their almost 4-month-old baby. Dad works full-time in the city, while Mum is currently on maternity leave and is planning to return to work part-time.
As first-time parents, they are looking for a nanny who is confident, nurturing and highly experienced with young babies, providing a calm and reassuring presence in the home.
Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration:

- 1–2 days per week
- 8:00am–5:00pm
- Start ASAP
- Opportunity to increase days as Mum increases her work days
- Long-term prospect
- Rate negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

The Role:
The successful nanny will provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old baby, supporting their daily routine, development and general wellbeing.
The family would also appreciate some light household support during the day, such as children's laundry, light meal preparation and occasional errands, depending on the nanny's availability and experience.
The family also has a very friendly but energetic 1-year-old Border Collie.



The nanny would ideally take the dog for a walk around the neighbourhood during the day, with the baby in the pram or carrier, so a genuine love of dogs is important.
At this stage, the family's preference is for the nanny not to drive the baby.
The Ideal Nanny:

- Highly experienced working with newborns and young babies
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys caring for infants
- Calm, confident and reassuring
- Professional, reliable and proactive
- Ideally has a background or exposure to midwifery, nursing, early childhood education or a similar field
- Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate activities
- Comfortable around energetic dogs
- Happy to assist with light household tasks
- Excellent communication and references

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with children, with strong infant experience
- Strong references
- Valid Australian driver's licence preferred
