This is your chance to work on real industrial electrical projects, learn from experienced tradespeople and build practical skills that will set you up for a successful long-term career.

Location: Fairfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Duties may include:

- Assisting with the installation, modification and repair of electrical systems
- Cutting, drilling and preparing electrical panels and enclosures
- Mounting switchgear, circuit breakers, relays, meters and other electrical devices
- Performing basic wiring and cable terminations under supervision
- Labelling and identifying electrical components and wiring
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings and wiring diagrams
- Planning and measuring layouts for electrical installations
- Testing,



identifying and assisting with fault-finding on electrical systems
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

About You:

- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia
- Have completed a minimum of Year 12
- Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
- Have a strong aptitude for maths and science
- Be motivated to learn and committed to completing a four-year apprenticeship
- Have excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
- Be willing to obtain a Q Fever Vaccination
- Be willing to undertake a police check and pre-employment medical if required

Highly Regarded
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology
- Previous experience using hand or power tools
- Demonstrated interest in electrical, engineering or technical fields
