About the Role

This fulltime, permanent position will provide a quality first point of contact for customers with enquiries, requests and complaints relating to St John training courses, services and range of products provided. You will respond to public enquiries in a timely, qualified and efficient manner whether by electronic, telephone or face to face interaction.

Key responsibilities will include

- Act as the primary point of contact for the public, managing a busy multi-line phone system and resolving enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Convert inbound enquiries and proactively follow up on warm sales leads to book students into first aid training courses and cross-sell complementary products.
- Nurture relationships with existing and lapsed customers, handling objections, addressing complaints, and championing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records,



issue course confirmations, invoices, and certificates, and complete basic sales reporting.
- Maintain a safe working environment while actively participating in workplace health, safety, and child protection protocols.

About You

You will have proven experience working in a customer service, call centre or sales environment and will demonstrate professional, and inclusive interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport.

We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate

- Experience with inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong data entry and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, CRM databases, and multi-line phone systems.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and professionalism with a respectful, positive approach.
- A current First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain), alongside a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check.
