Position Summary: Hospitality Worker

Jobize Pty Ltd is seeking a friendly and motivated Hospitality Worker to join our front-of-house team. As a Hospitality Worker, you will assist across a variety of service areas, including dining, and customer service, to make sure every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-service focus, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, answer enquiries and provide information about our menu, beverages and venue activities.

• Take food orders and serve guests promptly and accurately.

• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.

• Set up, clear and reset tables, and keep dining and service areas clean and tidy.

• Assist with restocking supplies and support other team members across the venue as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service or customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is a plus.

Position Summary: Kitchen Hand





We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will support our chefs and cooks in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, safe and well organised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, cutting and portioning ingredients.

• Prepare simple food items, including salads, sandwiches and side dishes, following set recipes.

• Wash and sanitise dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment.

• Clean and maintain food preparation areas, benches, floors and storage areas.

• Receive, unpack and correctly store food deliveries and kitchen supplies.

• Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling in line with hygiene and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of food handling, hygiene and safety practices.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to stay on your feet for long periods.

• Food handling or food safety certification is a plus.
