We're seeking a hands-on Site Leading Hand to help run safe, productive operations at a grain storage site in Nyngan. You'll work alongside the team each day, guide staff and contractors, and step up to support site supervision during busy periods.
What you'll do
- Lead day-to-day grain receival, storage and outturn activities.
- Train and supervise staff and contractors in safe work practices and equipment operation.
- Help maintain grain quality, inventory controls and site safety standards.
- Support rostering, operational planning and equipment maintenance.
- Take responsibility for site operations when the Site Supervisor is away.
What you'll bring
- Experience supervising people and delivering practical, on-the-job training.
- A hands-on approach, sound safety judgement and the ability to adapt as site priorities change.
- A current driver's licence, Confined Space certificate and Level 2 First Aid certificate.
- Availability to work outdoors and flexible hours, including nights or weekends when required, and to assist at other sites.
Experience in grain handling, bulk materials or operating equipment such as front end loaders and conveyors would be an advantage.
