About the role

We're looking for a driven and experienced project manager who thrives in a complex infrastructure environment. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contract and procurement activities, resolve project and contractual challenges, and champion best-practice project delivery. In return, you will have the prospect to work on key critical infrastructure railway projects that influence the future of the public transport network, as well as develop and mentor a high-performing team.

Help shape the future of public transport by leading the delivery of key infrastructure projects that improve and expand the network. This role is responsible for managing medium to high-risk projects from planning and design through to procurement, construction, and completion; ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on time, and within budget. Youwill provide expert project and contract management advice, oversee consultants and contractors, manage project risks, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Extensive experience leading the planning, design, procurement and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of achieving outcomes within scope, budget and schedule requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring, developing, and managing direct reports to achieve individual and organisational objectives.
- Highly developed project and contract management experience, supported by strong technical knowledge and experience applying industry-standard project controls, scheduling and cost management methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors, ensuring the successful delivery of r projects in complex stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with experience managing senior-level relationships, resolving complex project issues and developing solutions.
