As part of the Library’s team, you will help support organisational reform, working collaboratively with your team to shape the Library’s future.The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing and a non-ongoing APS 5 Coordinator, Exhibitions role in the Outreach and Exhibitions Section of the Engagement Branch. The non-ongoing role is to 30 June 2027 with the potential to become ongoing.
The section works with the Library’s stakeholders to develop and maintain the Temporary Exhibition Gallery, Permanent Treasures Gallery, the exhibition loan program and the onsite volunteers program.
As a Coordinator, Exhibitions you will be a key contributor to the administration,



development and delivery of the National Library’s exhibition program.
We are looking for someone with a focus on exhibition content development through curatorial research, organisational, administration and financial skills and the ability to develop relationships and work with other teams within the Library and external partners.
To succeed in this role:
• Ideally, you will have experience in contributing to the delivery of exhibitions in libraries, museums, galleries or other cultural institutions.
• Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Arts, Humanities, Curatorship, Social Sciences or Museum Studies, or related fields, would be highly valued.
• Experience working with volunteers, project management and financial administration would further enhance your application.
