About the role:
This temporary, full time role supports priority enrolment process improvements and course teach-out activities, with a particular focus on building practical, student-friendly course transfer pathways. You'll translate agreed decisions into workable end-to-end enrolment processes, documentation, communications, and case-management approaches-ensuring outcomes are compliant, operationally sound, and deliver a strong student experience.
- Be central to course teach-out and course transfer activity, turning decisions into practical enrolment pathways
- Partner with senior stakeholders across student administration, academics, IT and frontline service teams
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver enrolment-related process improvements, from analysis through to implementation and follow-up
- Translate teach-out decisions into practical enrolment processes, procedures, and business rules
- Develop and maintain course mapping for teach-out and course transition arrangements
- Create clear process documentation (current/future state maps, hand-offs, escalation pathways, system requirements)
- Monitor affected student cohorts, identify risks to completion, and coordinate follow-up/escalation where required
- Work collaboratively with academic and professional stakeholders to resolve enrolment barriers, exceptions, and complex cases
Experience:
You bring hands-on experience working with complex enrolment or student administration processes in a higher education environment,
and you're comfortable balancing detail with delivery. You're analytical, collaborative, and able to convert policy/process requirements into clear operational steps that teams can execute consistently.
- Demonstrated experience with university enrolment processes and student administration operations
- Demonstrated experience coordinating process improvement initiatives end-to-end
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, including using data to drive process improvement
- Ability to interpret and apply policies/procedures (and relevant Australian post-secondary compliance requirements)
- Confidence working across multiple stakeholder groups, communicating clearly and documenting processes effectively
