Maintenance Electrician - A-Grade
Location: Springvale, Victoria
Roster: 12-hour rotating shifts - 3 shifts per week
Industry: Health & Hygiene Manufacturing
This is a great opportunity to join a global leader in health and hygiene, as a Maintenance Electrician at thier Springvale site.
As a key part of the electrical maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the reliability and performance of our production and distribution facilities.
We're looking for a qualified and experienced A-Grade Electrician to carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems - from motors and VFDs to PLCs and robotic equipment - all while ensuring compliance with Victorian electrical standards and site safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical infrastructure including motors, panels, VFDs, PLCs, and robots.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Identify and resolve electrical faults using testing and diagnostic tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Equipment Installation:
Install and commission new electrical systems in accordance with schematics and Australian standards.
- Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe working setting by strictly following site-specific safety protocols and Victorian electrical regulations.
- System Support:
Use CMMS tools (preferably SAP) to plan, track, and manage maintenance tasks efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualification: A-Grade Electrician License (Victoria).
- Experience: Demonstrated industrial or manufacturing experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and robotic systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
-Proficient with diagnostic and testing equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Victorian electrical regulations.
