About the role
The Manager, Education Partnerships works strategically and collaboratively to provide high level, statewide leadership that ensures the provision of quality, timely educational and learning improvement services for teachers and students participating in programs in major state public organisations.
The Manager provides effective state-wide leadership to the public organization education teams to ensure the development of resources and programs are aligned to the Australian Curriculum, SA Curriculum, the SACE and Department teaching and learning priorities using the unique resources and expertise of the host organisations.
The Manager, Education Partnerships will lead high level consultation with senior officers and officials in host organisations to ensure alignment between the organisation’s objectives and the Department’s goals and respond strategically for mutual benefit.
The Manager will be required to provide high level leadership to ensure the public organisations have high quality and timely policy advice enabling them to provide service to education sites which contributes to improved learning outcomes for a diversity of students and young people.
Qualifications
Essential:
A tertiary qualification in education and current teacher registration.
Desirable: Nil
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)

Additional note
This is a full-time contract role (1.0 FTE), from 22 January 2027 until 23 January 2030.
