Action Workforce is currently recruiting reliable Customer Delivery Drivers for a leading supermarket's delivery operation in Alexandria.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy being on the road, working independently and providing good customer service.

About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver pre-loaded grocery orders to customers across the local area.

The vehicles are loaded and the delivery routes are organised before you start, allowing you to focus on completing deliveries safely, efficiently and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Safely driving a company delivery van
- Delivering grocery orders to customers
- Following planned delivery routes
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Loading and carrying grocery orders, including stairs where required
- Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
- Following all safety and delivery procedures
- Meeting required delivery timeframes

About you

We're looking for people who are reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable dealing with customers.

To be considered, you'll need:

- An eligible Australian driver's licence
- A satisfactory driving history
- Confidence driving in busy metropolitan and suburban areas
- Ability to safely lift and carry grocery orders
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends
- Willingness to complete the required checks and pre-employment medical

An RSAT certificate is advantageous. If you don't currently hold one, support may be available to obtain it where required.

- Any other customer-specific onboarding requirements
