Davies Stewart is delighted to partner with St John Ambulance South Australia, an organisation with a proud multi-generational legacy of caring for local communities. Beyond emergency health services and disaster support, St John delivers critical commercial training and health products that sustain its community mission and are sourcing an energetic Outbound Sales Consultant to join their growing team.

In this vital role, you will act as a key commercial anchor, engaging with existing and lapsed clients to drive course participation, unlock cross-selling opportunities, and provide seamless backup across our bustling call centre operations.

About the Role

This fulltime, permanent position will proactively engage with existing and lapsed customers to drive increased training course participation and sales of other services and products. You will be able to clearly articulate St John products and services (primarily commercial training) and meet targets to book students. The role will also support the Call Centre Team with inbound calls and case work.

Key responsibilities will include

- Act as the primary point of contact for the public, managing a busy multi-line phone system and resolving enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Convert inbound enquiries and proactively follow up on warm sales leads to book students into first aid training courses and cross-sell complementary products.
- Nurture relationships with existing and lapsed customers, handling objections, addressing complaints, and championing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy records, issue course confirmations, invoices,



and certificates, and complete basic sales reporting.
- Maintain a safe working environment while actively participating in workplace health, safety, and child protection protocols.

About You

You will have proven experience working in a call centre or sales environment with sales and target acumen and excellent communication skills. KPIs and sales targets and some experience in sales, retention and cross-selling.

- Experience with inbound and outbound calls including KPIs and sales targets.
- Proven ability in sales, retention and cross-selling.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide practical solutions.
- Robust data entry and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, CRM databases, and multi-line phone systems.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and professionalism with a respectful, positive approach.
- A current First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain), alongside a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check.
