We are working with a well-established commercial builder to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee a $25m extension and upgrade to an existing supermarket.

This is a live environment project requiring strong planning, stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the successful candidate taking full responsibility for the project from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

- Manage the project from planning through to handover
- Oversee programme, budget, quality and safety
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage works within a live retail environment
- Lead the site and project team, including CA and Site Manager
- Maintain strong communication with the client and key stakeholders
- Manage procurement, variations, forecasting and project reporting
- Ensure staging and construction activities minimise disruption to ongoing operations

About You

- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a commercial builder




- Experience delivering projects in the $15m–$40m range
- Retail, supermarket or live-environment project experience highly regarded
- Strong commercial and contract administration capability
- Excellent programming and subcontractor management skills
- Confident managing clients, consultants and internal project teams
- Solid understanding of safety, quality and construction processes
