Senior Hydraulic Engineer | Senior to Associate – Brisbane

An established Brisbane Building Services consultancy is looking to add an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to its growing team, with the opportunity to appoint at either Senior or Associate level depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more ownership across projects, stronger client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role within a growing hydraulic team.

The consultancy has a robust pipeline of work and offers the chance to work across a broad range of Building Services projects within an experienced multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

- Deliver hydraulic engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Take ownership of hydraulic design, documentation and project delivery
- Work directly with clients, architects, builders and project stakeholders
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, fire and other Building Services disciplines
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers
- Review designs and documentation for quality, compliance and constructability
- Assist with project planning, resourcing and delivery
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Depending on experience,



take on greater responsibility across team leadership and business development

About You

- Strong background in Building Services hydraulic engineering
- Experience delivering hydraulic designs across commercial and/or major building projects
- Confident managing projects and working directly with clients
- Strong understanding of hydraulic services, NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring engineers or designers would be highly regarded
- RPEQ registered, or willing to work towards RPEQ registration, would be advantageous
- Candidates operating at either Senior or Associate level will be considered
