JASU Logistics is a well-established logistics company and currently looking for an Accountant to join our growing team.
Some of the key accountabilities will be:
Manages the financial records, cost allocations, and supply chain expenses for transportation, warehousing, and freight operation.
- Track, normalise, and report monthly logistics costs, including freight forwarding, packaging, and fuel surcharges;
- Conduct regular internal audits and reconciliations of physical stock across warehouses and 3PL providers against general ledger entries
- Prepare journal entries, complete bank reconciliations, and review balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in developing annual divisional budgets and variance analyses to help management minimize transport costs and improve supply chain efficiency
- Support statutory financial reporting, liaise with external auditors, and ensure adherence to local tax and accounting regulations
