About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a contract at Mackay Base Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy critical care workplace while enjoying Queensland's stunning coastline over the summer period.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within the Intensive Care Unit, working collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team to support critically ill patients.

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' ICU experience
- Recent acute ICU nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
