Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per annum + superannuation

Cabra Projects Pty. Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our busy team in a full-time position.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Carpenter with strong practical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

The Role

The duties will include:

- Construction, erection, installation, renovation and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions and installation procedures
- Measuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials
- Ordering and selecting timbers and other required materials
- Assembling and nailing cut and shaped components
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation
- Constructing and installing building frameworks and structures
- Constructing concrete formwork
- Installing and repairing fixtures and other carpentry components
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively




- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, relevant building standards and safety requirements
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Certificate III trade qualification in Carpentry and/or a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience working as a Carpenter
- Construction White Card
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Good practical carpentry skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- A strong commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE)
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Two contactable referees
