Wales Truck Repairs is a renowned brand in the heavy vehicle smash repair industry and a division of AMA Group Heavy Motors. Wales has been recognised around Perth for being Built on Quality for over 50 years.
Our purpose-built 5-acre covered facility in Malaga is designed specifically for heavy vehicle repairs and features 28 truck bays, 7 trailer bays in the mechanical workshop, 8 panel shop bays, and 5 paint shop bays, including 2 large spray booths dedicated to heavy vehicles. Our site is maintained to the highest standards and offers ample staff parking, an onsite parts retailer, and a supportive, family-oriented team workplace.

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Person to join the team at Wales Truck Repairs in Malaga.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of quality parts, supporting efficient repair cycle times and contributing to the overall profitability of the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Order parts through the parts management system
- Receive and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality
- Accurately process parts invoices within the management system
- Monitor parts ETAs and proactively manage delays
- Procure parts with a focus on cost efficiency and profitability
- Manage stock levels, credit notes, returns, and supplier credits
- Record arriving parts against job numbers and store appropriately
- Investigate alternative supply options for delayed parts
- Coordinate and process sublet repairs and invoices
- Order paint and consumables in line with production requirements (where required)
- Receive and process paint and consumables orders
Does This Sound Like You?
- Previous experience in a Parts Person, Stores, Automotive Parts Interpreter, or similar role
- Strong interest in motor vehicles and the automotive industry
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Competent computer skills and experience with inventory systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A proactive problem-solver who works well within a team environment
- Professional, reliable, and personable approach
