About the Role

You'll be part of a dedicated maintenance team helping keep local roads, footpaths and community infrastructure safe, accessible and well maintained.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- Road, footpath, kerb and channel and drainage maintenance
- Asphalt patching and minor concreting
- Bluestone repairs and general civil maintenance
- Operating excavators, skid steers, rollers, compactors and other civil plant
- Driving MR trucks and transporting materials and equipment
- Responding to road defects and maintenance requests
- Installing and maintaining traffic management equipment and signage




- Completing daily pre-starts and basic equipment maintenance
- Completing work orders and reporting hazards
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team

What You'll Need

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, safety-conscious and ready to get involved.

You will need:

- Current MR Truck Licence
- VicRoads 5-year demerit point history
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check
- Experience in road maintenance, civil construction or infrastructure
- Experience operating civil plant and machinery
- Construction White Card
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Location: Dandenong
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $36.81 per hour + Super
