Our client is seeking a Capture Manager to join their team in Canberra, ACT. They are a world leader in designing developing and producing high end multi-Domain systems leveraging off cutting edge technology, to address current and future challenges faced by defence and security agencies as well as industrial partners.

The capture manager will be responsible to identify opportunities and provide capability to government for national security both here and overseas. This is a senior position, that will develop strategies and make go/ no go decisions, work closely with internal stakeholders and develop engagement plans to identify customer requirements.

The role

- Develop quality capture plans
- Develop and implement capture strategy
- Coordinate subject matter expert's to support proposals
- Understand client needs, identify key differentiators
- Conduct competition anaysis
- Create and build solid relationships with key clients
- Stakeholders internal and external management
- Oversee high quality winning proposals
- Develop communication plan - Selling
- Contributing to bid strategy,



win themes and win price together with Sales & Marketing Director.

Experience

- A track record in successful capture management
- Experience in SATCOM / RF / Land digital communications
- ASDEFCON
- Developed writing skills
- Proposal writing skills and experience (must)
- Have experience in the Land domain
- Good understanding of market dynamics
- A decision maker
- Experienced in negotiations
- Understand Commercial Risk
- Pricing strategy knowledge and experience
- Have an AGSVA clearance and ITAR compliance
