Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced accounts officer to join a globally recognised industry leader based in Southbank.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an iconic business, where you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, undertaking accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank processing, reconciliations, and reporting.

This is a permanent full-time position paying $83k + super per annum, offering the successful applicant 1 day a week working from home.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a small team, you'll be responsible for:

- End-to-end accounts payable and receivable processing
- Managing weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare various journal entries
- Assist with annual audits
- Assist with employee expense claims as required

Your Profile

- A minimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume transactional environment with a demonstrated ability to manage end to end accounts payable and receivable processes,




- You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups), with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly. Previous experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.
