Finance Business Partner (Contract)

The Company

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for an exciting contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders across the business, providing commercial insights and financial guidance that support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.

The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance Business Partnering, FP&A;, Management Accounting, or Commercial Finance role and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key duties will include:

- Partnering with operational and business leaders to provide financial insights and strategic support
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Delivering monthly performance reporting, analysis and commentary
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying key business drivers, risks and opportunities
- Developing financial models and business cases to support decision-making
- Providing commercial analysis on business initiatives, projects and investments
- Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics to drive business outcomes
- Supporting month-end processes and management reporting requirements
- Assisting stakeholders with financial planning and cost management initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Presenting financial results and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Supporting strategic projects and change initiatives across the business
- Building strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:





- CA / CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP&A;, Commercial Finance, or Management Accounting role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capabilities
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders and operational leaders
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/system experience
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Immediate availability preferred
- Open to Working Holiday Visa holders
