About the Position:

Dental O So Gentle Beldon is looking for a professional and experienced Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused practice on a part-time basis, working alternate Wednesdays and every Saturday.

You’ll be joining a supportive and friendly team in our up-to-date, cosy practice, where teamwork, collaboration and patient care are at the heart of what we do. Our dentists and team are committed to providing high-quality care while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, supported and well looked after.

We offer a broad range of dental services, from general check-ups and preventative care through to cosmetic treatments, giving you the opportunity to build on your skills and gain experience across a variety of procedures. Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
- Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
- Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels,



ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed:

- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail
