We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager Clinical Services to lead the transformation, growth and sustainability of our Clinical Services division. This role will balance exceptional participant outcomes with strong commercial performance, driving service innovation, workforce productivity and sustainable growth across a multidisciplinary allied health environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead a multidisciplinary workforce and work closely with the General Manager In-Home and Community Support to deliver integrated, high-quality services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Translating Estara’s strategy into operational and financial plans with transparent measures of success.
- Providing strategic advice on service performance, risk, sustainability and growth.
- Leading safe, person-centred clinical services aligned with NDIS Practice Standards and quality frameworks.
- Holding accountability for the financial performance of the Clinical Services portfolio (budgets, utilisation, margins, cost controls).
- Driving service redesign, productivity and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Leading clinical governance, risk management and performance reporting, including Board-level papers.
- Developing workforce capability, engagement and sustainable ways of working.
- Building effective relationships with participants, families, clinicians, regulators and partners.

About you

You are an accomplished senior leader who combines clinical understanding with strong operational, financial and strategic capability.

You will bring:





- Senior leadership experience in health, clinical, allied health, disability or related service environments, with experience leading multidisciplinary clinical or allied health teams and a relevant tertiary qualification in allied health, nursing, health sciences, health management or a related discipline.
- Proven accountability for operational and financial performance, including budgets, service efficiency and financial sustainability, with the ability to build commercial awareness and accountability across clinical teams.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality and safety frameworks, with experience establishing performance frameworks that balance participant outcomes, workforce wellbeing and financial sustainability.
- A strong record of service improvement, redesign, organisational change and cultural and operational transformation, including the integration of clinical and operational models to achieve quality outcomes and sustainable services.
- Highly developed analytical capability, using data, dashboards and performance metrics to drive decision-making and accountability, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including Board-level interaction.
