A day in the life?
As The Fox Workday Announcer, you'll be the voice of Melbourne throughout the workday, creating engaging, entertaining and relatable content that keeps listeners connected and coming back for more.
Working closely with the Content Director and broader content team, you'll play a key role in delivering great on-air moments, developing compelling content, and helping The Fox remain one of Australia's most iconic radio brands.
No two days are the same, but you'll be:
Hosting and preparing for The Fox Workday shift
Developing content and promotions that grow audience engagement
Creating content across social, digital and podcast platforms
Contributing to show planning, strategy and creative sessions
Staying across trends, entertainment and pop culture to keep content fresh and relevant
Building solid connections with listeners and bringing energy, personality and authenticity to every break
What You’ll Need
Significant experience as an Announcer, Executive Producer or similar content-focused role
Proven experience creating compelling audio content and engaging audiences
Strong understanding of contemporary music, entertainment and pop culture
Exceptional storytelling, communication and content creation skills
A passion for great radio,
digital content and audience growth
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities
A collaborative mindset and a desire to help shape the future of one of Australia's biggest radio brands
