We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an Identity and Access Manager, you’ll lead the delivery and continual improvement of our Identity and Access Management services across Australian Retirement Trust.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Identity Access Management, you’ll provide people leadership to a team of IAM professionals and oversee identity governance, identity management, secrets management and access management solutions. You’ll be a trusted subject matter expert, helping the organisation securely manage identities, permissions and account lifecycle processes.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Technology and the broader business to improve controls, integrate services and promote leading identity security practices. Your leadership will help ensure our IAM services continue to meet operational, security, risk, audit and regulatory requirements as our technology setting evolves.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

- Lead, support and develop a team of IAM professionals, building capability, accountability and service excellence.
- Oversee the delivery of identity management, identity governance, access management, provisioning, account maintenance and permissions services.
- Lead operational planning for IAM services, anticipating emerging needs and supporting scalable growth.
- Manage large-scale IAM initiatives and support the integration of IAM services with new technologies.




- Provide authoritative advice on identity and access management to technical teams, leaders, suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Drive the integration of IAM controls, processes and standards across technology platforms, projects and operational services.
- Establish, maintain and continually improve IAM policies, processes and controls.
- Ensure IAM services meet security standards, regulatory obligations, audit requirements and agreed service commitments.
- Coordinate priorities across delivery teams and oversee the timely completion of operational and project work.
- Monitor emerging IAM technologies, industry trends and security practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the triage, analysis and resolution of IAM issues and incidents.
- Apply strong troubleshooting skills to complex issues across IAM, network and related technology environments.
- Work with operational teams to identify, mitigate and support system and testing remediation.
- Champion identity security, operational efficiency, continuous improvement and risk reduction across the organisation.

Qualifications

creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Your knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems is deep, current and supported by relevant practical experience.
- You'll bring experience leading and developing technical professionals within a complex enterprise environment.
- You're confident overseeing identity governance, identity management, access management, provisioning or secrets management services.
- You understand IT governance frameworks, vendor management and service delivery models within medium to large organisations.
- Your analytical and troubleshooting skills enable you to diagnose and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
- You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining focus on security, risk, compliance and service outcomes.
- You're able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical advice for different audiences.
- You build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, leaders, suppliers and external partners.
- Your experience in superannuation or financial services would be highly regarded.
- You'll ideally understand legislative obligations and identity, security or technology governance frameworks within a regulated environment.
- You're committed to courageous leadership, empathetic collaboration and excellent outcomes.
