The role of the Integrity Relief & Response Manager is to provide short term support, through agreement, to National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) and National Sporting Organisations for People with Disability (NSODs) with their Integrity matters in the absence of or in support of their National Integrity Manager.
The Integrity Relief & Response Manager builds and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the National Integrity Framework and complaints management process and will support sport to establish or refine processes and procedures to ensure better practice integrity management.
- Provide short-term, targeted surge support to NSOs and NSODs during periods of vacancy, increased workload, complex integrity matters or transition.
- Step into or support National Integrity Manager functions to maintain continuity of integrity
- Provide practical advice to NSOs/NSODs on the application of the National Integrity Framework, integrity policies, complaint pathways and procedural fairness.
- Assist NSOs/NSODs to strengthen or refine complaint handling procedures, case management systems, recordkeeping practices and escalation pathways.
- Build the capability of NIMs and sport administrators through coaching, mentoring, templates, process guidance and practical case support.
- Develop a quick understanding of each sport’s operating setting, integrity risks, governance arrangements and stakeholder needs.
- Coordinate with Sport Integrity Australia business areas to ensure sports receive consistent, accurate and timely integrity advice.
- Maintain clear records of advice, actions,
decisions and outcomes in relevant case management or recordkeeping systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency and quality across NIM Program support, complaint management and sport integrity capability.
- Prepare briefings, updates and reports on surge support activity, emerging risks, capability gaps and recommended follow-up actions.
- Represent Sport Integrity Australia professionally when embedded with or supporting NSOs/NSODs, maintaining independence, confidentiality and trust.
- Work flexibly across multiple sports and competing priorities, exercising sound judgement in sensitive and time-critical environments
The key accountabilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance with the PGPA Act, Finance Law and Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
- Compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ensure the APS Values and Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times.
- Endorse and encourage `best practice' recordkeeping in accordance with Sport Integrity Australia’s Record Keeping Policy and Information Governance Framework. Cooperate with the employer and comply with all relevant legislation and Sport Integrity Australia’s health and safety policies, procedures and instructions.
