Employee Experience Lead

About the Role

In this 6-month project extension role, you will support key HR deliveries including finalising the implementation of Professional Development Plan on AMbition, leading the extended implementation of cultural safety training, and supporting the new Access and Inclusion Plan and the Reconciliation Plan.

Employment Status:

- Clerk Grade 7/8
- Fixed Term up to 6 months
- Full-time, 35 hours per week

You will be paid a competitive total remuneration package of $132,773- $146,972 pa, including an annual salary of $116,981 - $129,492, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.

About you

You are an experienced employee experience, human resources or organisational development professional who can lead multiple programs and deliver practical improvements in a complex environment. You are an inclusive and engaging communicator who builds strong relationships, influences participation and remains focused when priorities change.

You will bring experience in project delivery, continuous improvement, employee communications and systems administration, together with the ability to manage and develop staff and deliver responsive, customer-focused services.

To be eligible for this role at the Australian Museum, you must hold full working rights in Australia and meet all essential requirements listed in the position description.

Knowledge and Experience

- Sound knowledge of employee lifecycle practices and the conditions of employment established under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013, Government Sector Employment Regulation 2014, Government Sector Employment Rules 2014, and relevant awards,



determinations and agreements.
- Demonstrated capability in system administration and continuous improvement, preferably involving a learning or employee experience platform, including user support, reporting, data quality, access controls and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including the development of programs, resources and communications that support organisational culture and employee outcomes.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, Business, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
