Deputy Head Primary

Full Time Permanent, commencing January 2027

Are you a creative, passionate, dedicated School Leader, ready to take your career further? We are seeking an exceptional and effective leader to fill the role of Deputy Head of Primary, working in collaboration with the Head of Primary and second Deputy Head Primary. As Deputy Head of Primary, you will play an important role in shaping this culture, leading with purpose, supporting and inspiring others, and helping create the conditions in which students and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head of Primary to oversee Primary students’ wellbeing and safety.
- Contribute to Primary School planning and administration.
- Guide primary teaching staff in curriculum and teaching excellence.
- Support excellence and equity in student matters.
- Ensure an ongoing and relevant parental interface.
- Build and develop community relationships.
- Undertake up to a 0.5 FTE teaching load.
- Organise daily Teaching and Education Assistant relief schedule.

Essential Requirements:

- Current registration with the WA Teachers Registration Board.
- Valid Working with Children card, or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated school leadership experience.
- Knowledge and experience of the WA Curriculum.
- Willingness to contribute to wider school programs, including co-curricular, camps or other school-based activities.
- An enjoyment of working with students, establishing a caring environment, and maintaining positive links between parents, home and school.
