Full Job Description
Engineering Trades Australia are looking for a skilled Commercial Construction Electrician with experience across commercial and industrial electrical installation projects. The successful candidate will initially be working on an industrial shed project in Wacol, with the opportunity to move across a range of ongoing commercial and industrial projects throughout Brisbane.

About the Role You will be involved across various stages of the project, working alongside builders, supervisors and other trades to deliver quality electrical installations in a fast-paced construction environment.

- $55 - $60/hr Casual + Penalties
- Industrial shed project in Wacol
- Ongoing commercial and light industrial projects
- Temp-to-perm opportunity

Your duties may include:
- Electrical installation across industrial and commercial construction projects
- Rough-in, fit-off and final installation
- Power and lighting installations
- Switchboards and distribution equipment
- Cable installation and termination
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
- Testing, fault-finding and commissioning
- Working alongside builders, supervisors and other trades
- Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

Following the initial Wacol industrial shed project,



there will be opportunities to move across a variety of ongoing commercial and industrial projects throughout Brisbane. Occasional travel for regional or interstate projects may also be required, generally for short periods.

What We're Looking For

- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Proven commercial or industrial construction experience
- Strong electrical installation and fit-off skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong safety focus and professional approach
- Ability to work independently when required

Experience across industrial sheds, commercial construction, warehouses, large-scale commercial projects, retail or other construction environments will be highly regarded.

Requirements

- QLD Electrical Licence
- Current CPR & LVR
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work in Wacol and across Brisbane commercial/industrial projects
- Ability to travel occasionally when required
