We are currently seeking an experienced First Class Welder to join a leading Australian bus manufacturer.

Pay Rate: $48.56 per hour + super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm
Overtime: Regular overtime opportunities available

About the Role

You will be working within a modern vehicle manufacturing facility, constructing and assembling bus chassis and framework components.

Key duties include:

- Welding and fabricating metal chassis and framework sections
- Reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions
- Cutting, shaping and aligning metal components
- Joining sections through welding, bolting and riveting
- Inspecting, cleaning and finishing completed welds
- Using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment
- Assisting with vehicle modifications, panels and fittings
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area

What We’re Looking For
- First Class Welder, Boilermaker or Welder/Fabricator experience
- Previous bus, truck, heavy-vehicle or automotive experience




- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read drawings and diagrams
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely within a production team
