We’re a small workshop based in Brendale specialising in high-end motorcycle seat covers. Ommella operates as the trimming arm of Kelpi Custom Moto, working closely alongside their team to manufacture and develop our product range.

Production has grown steadily over the past 7 years, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and continual improvement. While our work is production-based and made in volume, we still treat every seat individually and take pride in every one that leaves the workshop.

This isn’t your typical auto upholstery role. We manufacture recent products from new materials, so the work is clean and production-focused rather than repair or restoration based. The focus is on quality, process, and attention to detail within a structured workflow, all performed in a clean and organised workshop. The work is mainly production-based motorcycle seat covers, with custom seat work and a small amount of other products and projects mixed in.

You’ll be working directly with the owner in a hands-on, collaborative environment, contributing to the full build process from marking through to final fitment, as well as assisting with new designs.

The goal is simple: produce quality work, stay organised, and keep things running smoothly week to week.

What you’ll be doing

- Marking and cutting materials from patterns
- Sewing on a quality industrial machine with automated functions
- Foam shaping
- Opportunity to take on creative design and custom work as your skills, capability, and understanding of the brand’s style develop




- Working through structured processes with the owner to keep production organised, consistent, and on track within a collaborative workflow
- Working toward consistent daily output while maintaining high quality standards

What we’re looking for

- Experience in auto upholstery, trimming, or similar industrial sewing
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Organised and able to follow structured processes
- Reliable and consistent, with a willingness to take responsibility for your output
- Willingness to learn and improve within a refined production system
- You don’t need to know everything, but you should be confident with the basics and willing to refine your skills within our system.
- Small team working directly with the owner, where your input is valued and contributes to the growth of the business
- Clean, organised workshop with a focus on staying ahead and avoiding chaos
- All indoor, mostly air-conditioned work environment
- Consistent, structured workflow
- Work alongside an experienced trimmer with 20 years in the trade
- Work closely with Kelpi Custom Moto, a solid and friendly crew with a strong reputation

Standard hours are 6:00am–2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am–12:00pm Friday (38-hour week), with flexibility to adjust earlier or later for the right person
