Quick Built Systems is looking for a Machine Operator / Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at our Silverdale factory.

We manufacture a range of building products including insulated roofing panels, acoustic fencing and modular kit homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work alongside our Lead Hand assisting with the operation of our roll-forming and production machinery while also helping across general factory production.

Day-to-day duties include:

- Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery
- Assisting our Lead Hand with roll-forming and production
- General factory and manufacturing duties
- Wrapping and packing completed jobs
- Preparing orders for dispatch and delivery




- Assisting with loading jobs onto trucks
- Keeping the factory and work areas clean and organised

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

- Mechanically minded and confident working around machinery
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Hands-on and willing to learn
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical factory work
- Someone who takes pride in their work

Previous roll-forming or machine operating experience is preferred but not essential

A forklift licence is also preferred but not required

Training can be provided for the right person who has a good attitude and is mechanically minded and willing to learn
