People & Culture team is a small team that leads strategic programs and operational activities across the entire employee lifecycle. The team manages programs and provides expert advice across a range of people and culture activities including employee relations, talent attraction and selection, onboarding, talent management, learning and development, organisational development, remuneration and reporting and workforce planning.

We are seeking a passionate and organised HR professional to provide vital administrative and coordination support across a broad range of People and Culture activities. In this role, you will contribute to key employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and work health and safety. You will also support a variety of people initiatives that help deliver a positive, seamless, and engaging employee experience.

This is a full time, non-ongoing position initially offered for a 12-month period. It offers a competitive salary range of $79,125 - $86,246 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.

What You’ll Do

- Recruitment and Selection: Work closely with our P&C; team and hiring managers to support the recruitment process from posting job ads to preparing contracts,



you'll ensure a smooth and effective hiring journey.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they have a great start with our onboarding program and portal.
- Learning and Development: Assist in managing our Learning Management System (LMS), track training attendance, and help develop our annual training program.
- Work Health and Safety: Provide administrative support for WHS committee meetings and safety program activities.
- General Support: Offer general administrative assistance to the Director of People & Culture and contribute to the development of HR programs, policies, and procedures.

Eligibility

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in providing HR administrative support.
- Understanding of the relevant Australian Public Service human resources legislation policies and procedures.
- Ability to meet deadlines while displaying accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound ICT skills and ability to explore functionality and system improvements.
- Well developed planning and organisational skills and with ability to manage multiple activities whilst ensuring accuracy.
- High attention to detail in the preparation of employment documentation.
- Ability to build constructive workplace relationships to ensure team effectiveness and cohesion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and liaise with staff from diverse backgrounds.
