We are looking for an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to join our St Kilda Road team and help shape the next chapter of our service.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your ideas, experience and passion for early childhood education will make a real difference. You’ll work alongside a supportive Centre Leadership Team, mentor educators, strengthen practice and help create a culture where our team can thrive.

The Role

As our Educational Leader, you’ll be at the heart of our educational practice. You’ll inspire educators to reflect, grow and continually strengthen the experiences we create for children.

You’ll bring energy, ideas and a strong understanding of what great early learning looks like, while supporting our team to turn this into everyday practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead the delivery of engaging, high-quality educational programs.

- Mentor, coach and inspire educators to grow their confidence and capability.

- Guide curriculum planning, documentation and assessment.

- Support educators to confidently implement the EYLF and approved learning framework.

- Champion reflective practice, collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Support the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan.





- Work alongside educators to strengthen pedagogical practice and outcomes for children.

- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider Woodlands community.

- Partner with the Centre Director and Leadership Team to achieve shared educational goals.

- Help create a positive culture where educators feel supported, valued and inspired to do their best work.

What You’ll Bring

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.

- Robust knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Quality Improvement Planning.

- Experience mentoring, coaching or leading early childhood educators.

- A genuine passion for inspiring educators and improving outcomes for children.

- A collaborative and reflective approach to leadership.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive team culture.

- Current WWCC or VIT, First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporting and Police Check.
