RN - Lismore Base - Adult Treatment & Recovery Team

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Adult Treatment and Recovery Team in a community setting. This is a 17-week contract position based in Lismore, NSW, starting as soon as possible and running through to 31 January 2027. The role offers the chance to make a real difference in mental health care, working with a team committed to supporting adults through their recovery journey.

- Community-based mental health nursing with a focus on adult treatment and recovery

Preferred Requirements

- Solid and demonstrated experience in mental health nursing




- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Ability to work effectively within a community-based treatment and recovery model
- Sound clinical assessment and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Current VPM (Violence Prevention and Management) competency, or willingness to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialisation in mental health nursing
- Current VPM certification or equivalent violence prevention training
