Your New Role
Support children and families to confidently access, engage with, and transition into kindergarten services.
As the Family and Community Engagement Officer, you will:
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for families throughout enrolment, orientation, transition, and kindergarten participation.
- Build strong relationships with families, educators, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Support families experiencing barriers to accessing kindergarten and connect them with appropriate community services and supports.
- Assist families to navigate enrolment processes and digital systems, including OWNA.
- Work in office across five kindergarten services within the City of Casey region, spending one dedicated day per week at each service.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in family support, community engagement, early childhood, administration, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strong commitment to inclusion, cultural safety, and child-centred practice.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using digital systems.
- The ability to work independently across multiple sites while building collaborative partnerships.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Employee Working with Children Check.
