Settlers Primary School (PS) is a dynamic and welcoming school located in the growing community of Baldivis. Since opening in 2005, we've become a place where high-quality teaching, strong relationships and a deep sense of community come together to support every child to thrive.

The Role

We are actively seeking K-6 Teachers who ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a K-6 Teacher you would ideally create a positive and inclusive classroom setting, set high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.

Ideally you will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued. Experience delivering Talk for Writing, Sounds Write,



Sounds Waves, Smiling Minds and Ready Rockets is highly desired.

As a member of our team, you would leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programs. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning.

- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
